THE COMMON APPLICATION
The Common Application is an online college application which can be sent to multiple colleges at once. This helps streamline one part of the admissions process for students. There are over 800 colleges that accept The Common Application. Please note that this is not linked to FAFSA. They are two separate things. FAFSA deals with financial aid, where The Common Application deals with the initial process of applying to colleges (name, address, parental employment and education, extracurricular activities, etc.).
